Project Budget
The Lopez Home is valued at $146,000, and is being donated by the Hill heirs. The estimated cost to move and restore it at the museum is $310,000. In addition, a budget of $10,000 for marketing the project to the public and donor recognition is planned.

Move with Permits – $82,000
Museum Site Preparation – $24,000
Interior Paint and Wallpaper – $10,000
Exterior Paint – $35,000
Heating/Cooling – $10,000
Cedar Shingle Roof – $38,000
Electrical – $46,000
Plumbing – $2,000
Foundation and Flatwork – $35,000
Landscaping – $3,000
Security & Fire System Tie-in – $5,000
Contingency Fund – $20,000
Marketing & Donor Recognition – $10,000
Total to be raised – $320,000
Thousands of dollars needed for this project could be provided through donated services, particularly in the construction trades. Cash and in-kind services will be recognized equally.
